Any therapy for jaw pain?

To effectively reduce jaw pain, you should seek consultation with an otolaryngologist or other Chicago dental implant specialist, gnathologist or maxillofacial surgeon. Thje treatment is possible only after a detailed diagnosis. In transient cases, in order to relieve pain, administration of anti-inflammatory drugs and hot or cold compresses can help alleviate pain. If the pain is not so intense anyway, it may be helpful to relax your jaw muscles with a massage. People with bruxism may find it easier to use night prosthesis. You should also avoid hard foods, chewing gum, and actually all foods that require prolonged chewing.
